What is a Bordoodle? A designer cross between a border collie and a standard poodle. Why? Border collies are well known for their intelligence, loyalty, trainability and desire to please! Turn on your tv for 5 minutes and you will see a border collie featured in many of the commercials that pop up. Why the standard poodle? The original notion for crossing poodles with other breeds is the benefit of their curly non-shedding coats, and the cute scruffy teddy bear-like appearance they produce. Against popular belief, the standard poodle is not the high maintenance, yippy, entitled breed imagined. They are actually the number two breed for intelligence after the border collie and you will not find a more versatile or affectionate companion! Combining these two breeds is a no-brainer. I’m amazed it has taken this long for this cross to gain popularity.

About Us

At Nighthawk Bordoodles we are passionate about our puppies. These are not backyard breeds or accidents. We have researched, planned and teamed up with other owners of this breed in order to pair the most ideal parents. This produces the most adorable addition to your family! You can be sure our puppies are raised correctly. The puppies will be ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age. Each one will be de-wormed, have had a full health check by a licensed Veterinarian, and all age-appropriate vaccinations. They will be well socialized and started on potty training. Did I mention all of our puppies come with a 2-year health guarantee? If a congenital or hereditary defect is discovered by your licensed vet we will refund or replace your puppy.
